Haley Alden and Tres Mo X Rose Wether

The Alden Family of Hamilton, MO are no strangers to Faith Genetics' wethers or to winning wethers.  Here Haley is shown with her 2nd place Tres Mo X Rose wether at the 2009 MO State Fair.  Haley had also just won Grand and Reserve Champion 4-H Wethers at the State Fair!  Congratulations and thanks Alden Family!

 Spring/Summer/Early Fall Show Wether Results:

  • The Alden Family of Hamilton, MO has done extremely well with their Tres Mo X Rose wether they purchased in our spring sale.  They were happy to take home champion wether honors at the Davies and Caldwell County Fairs.  Additionally, he placed first in his class at the Cameron Junior Livestock Show, one of the May Chillicothe, MO shows, the Brookfield Jackpot, and at the Maysville, MO Junior Boer Goat Show.  He recently took second in his class at the 2009 Missouri State Fair and my guess is you’re going to see him being pretty competitive in the fall shows.  Good job girls.
    • Late Breaking News - Haley Alden just took home the associational jackpot $ for having the highest placed wether in the Fall Classic Wether Show!  Congratulations!  Her wether (pictured above) was 2nd in his class!
  • Cassie Reid of Bosworth, MO has also been pulling around a couple of Faith Genetics’ wethers this summer.  Her Tres Mo X Rose wether looks pretty good and recently placed 2nd in his class at the MO State Fair.  Additionally, he won his class at the Livingston County Fair.  Cassie is also showing a Tres Mo X Suzzie wether that was second at the Carroll County Fair and 7th in his class at the State Fair.
  • Ben Jones of Dawn, Missouri has done very well with his KTS 2009 wethers.  His #38, a Diamond X Ruby wether, was first in his class with some stiff competition at the 2009 MO State Fair.  This wether also placed first in his class at the Livingston County Fair.  Look for Ben at the September Jackpot.
  • The Luchini Family of Cole Camp, Missouri have been doing superbly with a group of wethers they purchased from Steve Haley of Chillicothe, MO.  Congratulations for some excellent show placings.  Their results are as follows:
    • A Diamond X Snowflake wether, #47, was first in his class at the Benton County Fair and then Grand Champion at the District FFA show in Marshall, MO, the Henry County fair and the Harrison Arkansas Jackpot show.  Karstan then showed him to fifth in his class at the state fair.
    • A Jim X Pebbles wether, #39, also shown by Karstan Luchini, was first in his class at the District FFA show in Marshall and 2nd in his class at the Benton County fair.  Additionally, he was third in his class at the Henry County fair, Harrison, Ark show and the Missouri State Fair.
    • Braxton Luchini showed #40 to some excellent placings this summer. A Jim X Blossom wether, he was overall Grand Champion at the Benton County Fair, 2nd at the Henry County Fair and 3rd at the Harrison Arkansas show.  He then finished 4th in his class at the 2009 Missouri State Fair.
    • Braxton also showed a Diamond X Wilma wether, #49 this summer. He was first in his class at the Benton County fair and reserve champion at the Henry County fair.  He also had a good 2nd place at the Harrison, Ark. Show.
  • One of my proudest “sales” is that involving the Sweeney Family of Carrollton, MO.  They purchased five bred does from me last fall and have been doing very well with them this year.  Dakota took his Icon and Victorious wethers to the State Fair and made the cut in stiff competition.  Congratulations and good job Dakota!
  • The Steve Haley Family (Lauren, Emilee and Allison) have done well with their wethers this summer.  Emilee pulled around #16, their Diamond X Party Girl wether, was first in his class at the Sullivan and Davies County fairs and second in his class at the Livingston County fair.  #45, their Jim X Robin wether, was second in his class at the Livingston County fair and third at Sullivan County.  Lauren showed him to an eighth place in heavy competition at the state fair.  Another wether, #44, a Diamond X Whitney wether took third in his class at the MO State Fair, shown by Emilee.  Congratulations Haley family!
  • Madelyn and Steven Warren have shown their twin Tres Mo X Vanessa wethers this spring and summer.  Their spring show placings are below and I know they did well at county, but can’t remember exact placings right now.  You’ll be seeing them at the Chillicothe Jackpot show in September as well.
  • The Haase girls (Tiffany and Brittany) of Cole Camp have been showing two Faith Genetics’ wethers this summer.  Their Victorious X Winter and  Tres Mo X Tea Rose wethers have placed either second or third wherever they’ve gone this summer.  Good job girls!
  • A Tres Mo by Vi wether placed 5th out of seventeen in the 2009 Iowa State Fair FFA wether show.  Kristy Adey and family of Iowa purchased Vi in the 2008 Show-Me Iowa Classic this past fall pregnant to Tres.  Vi was a Major daughter out of Tea Rose.
